Another Update

We've booked our lodging in Chiang Mai - Thailand's second-largest city and the so-called "northern capital." We're spending four nights at the Baan Orapin Bed & Breakfast. Allie got us a great rate on the two-bedroom suite!

We also booked our round-trip tickets for our trips to Angkor Wat, Cambodia and to Koh Samui. Bangkok Airways has this sweet little pass deal that saved us each about $100. That's a lot of noodles!

A week from now, this dreadful little bar exam will be over. Two weeks from now, we'll be in Chiang Mai. Three weeks from now, in Cambodia. Four weeks from now, somewhere in or near Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

So close, and yet so far...

Introduction

Hi everyone!

This blog will record our post-bar exam trip through Southeast Asia. We're spending three weeks in the area, primarily in Thailand and Malaysia, with a planned jaunt to Angkor Wat in Cambodia. Rather than try to remember everyone's e-mail address when we get a chance to update our friends and family on our travels, we're going to use this blog as an easy way to keep everyone informed about our wacky adventures.

The bar exam is July 26-27, and we leave for Bangkok on July 31. We'll be back at some point before then to give you a sense of our itinerary. Until then, enjoy July for us; we're too busy studying.
